Meet The Lifeguards

​

Nick is an actor based out of Chicago and Los Angeles. He has worked on multiple indie films and shorts. Most recently you may recognize him as Braden from the current season of Chicago Fire on NBC.

​

He has trained at Acting Studio Chicago, Accomplished on Camera, and Black Box. Nick has also trained with Betsy Brandt, known for her role on Breaking Bad. Being from Chicago, Nick has intensive improv training including training with one of the bests, Will Miles, known for writing and role in Comedy Central’s South Side.

​

Nick has also down work in voice over and print. Outside of acting, he plays the guitar and piano, and also sings.

Andi Jo Taylor started acting in 2021 working with Starbound Talent Agency. In 2022, she attended the International Models and Talent Association (IMTA) competition in Los Angeles competing against thousands of contestants where she brought home the awards for “Most Sought After Female Junior Talent”, “Junior Female Actor of the Year”, and many first place awards for vocals.

Along with making her film debut starring in, “The Lifeguards”, Andi Jo Taylor is also a rising country music star. Having taken vocal lessons from Jazz legend, “Jean Holden”, since the age of 7, Andi Jo has had her sights set on the stars! The singer-songwriter and actress is a self taught pianist and guitarist; fearlessly ready to perform at the drop of the hat for anyone. Talk about a triple threat!

in addition to making her feature film debut in, “The Lifeguards” , Andi Jo will also be starring in short films, web series, and student films set to premier later this year.

Charles Wetzel Jr. has become one of Northwest Ohio's most prominent and successful actors, with a career spanning numerous independent films and commercials, stage performances with The Untitled Improv Show, and a role as Networking Coordinator for FilmToledo, Northwest Ohio's regional film commission. Charles is currently represented by PCG Talent in Columbus, OH.

Charles has previously trained at the Indy Actors Academy in Indianapolis, IN, and recently completed his second term at the world-famous Second City Training Center in Chicago, IL, bringing his knowledge and experience back to Toledo. He hosts monthly Actors' Workshop events for FilmToledo, introducing aspiring actors to improv and acting exercises and games.

Charles is also a singer and guitar/bass player, having performed with bands Seven Romans and Stretch. He also does voice-over work and livestreams on Twitch.

Maddie fell in love with acting and performing at a young age. She is now a theater major with a focus in acting at BGSU, where she has been a part of a number of theatrical productions and student films. Recently, Maddie was Ada in The Harvest and Chrysothemis in Electra for BGSU's mainstage season.

Marck Kiselevach is a Detroit-based actor finishing up my Bachelor's in Fine Arts at Wayne State University. He is a graduate of the Great Lakes Michael Chekhov Consortium's Certified Actor Program. Marck is especially excited to be a part of The Lifeguards as Winston. This is his first role in a feature film. Favorite theatre roles include: Dennis in This is Our Youth and Cristofer Rodriguez in Transfers.

Alyssa Mullins is a local Toledo actress that enjoys musical theater, crocheting, and storytelling. She began acting at 8 years old in her local civic theater. In her spare time she enjoys Sunday night dinners with the family and spoiling her two loveable cats, Cowboy and Ghost.

Ben Logue is stoked to make his indie film debut with the role of Kyle in The Lifeguards Movie! Recently, he graduated with a degree in Musical Theatre and Music Industry Studies. He has been performing in the theatre regionally since he was 10 years old. He also has original music on all streaming platforms under "Ben and the Blondes". In regards to film, Ben has worked most recently on two films; Holidate (Netflix) and A Man Called Otto (Sony Pictures). Nykera has been acting since she was seven and is currently pursuing a degree in musical theatre at Bowling Green State University. Normally, she performs on the stage, most of her credits are roles in musical theatre and plays, but she wants to step into the world of film and TV. This will be her first speaking role in a feature film although she has done extra work and been in a couple student films. Aside from acting, she also enjoys singing, dancing, watching Formula 1, hanging with friends and family, and she just picked up crocheting. She is very excited to be a part of this project!

Jack Anderson is an  American actor born in Michigan who first started his career in theater and dance. Jack stated that the first role he ever played was his dream role of "Jack" from Jack And The Beanstalk. He later took up dancing when his second dream role came calling for Newsies. He spent a year at an all-girls school learning Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, and Modern dance before leaving to study at The Academy Of Russian Classical Ballet. Most recently Jack landed his first feature film role as Young John The Beloved in the new 2023 movie version of The Thorn Live show, which premiered on March 6th.
